Baskonia's head coach Pablo Laso reveals that Markus Howard will undergo additional tests, but he hopes that Howard will be ready to play this weekend in Liga ACB.
Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz fell short in Belgrade after a loss to Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade in Beogradska Arena last night.
During the 4th quarter, Markus Howard suffered an injury after driving to the rim, leaving the court in excruciating pain.
Howard briefly returned in the very end of the match for one possesion, but Pablo Laso revealed his status ahead of Baskonia's Liga ACB encounter against Morabanc Andorra:
"Markus Howard has suffered a severe ankle sprain, which is not serious in principle because he has since returned to the court."
"We are going to try to get him available on Sunday, but tomorrow we will have to do some tests," said the Vitorian coach about the shooting guard's physical condition.
Laso also confirmed that Kamar Baldwin is out of action for the next few weeks with an injury sustained during FIBA windows with Georgia NT.
