"You already feel something important when you enter this gym, the taste of victory, the taste of a serious club that wants to push its players to the maximum to win trophies," he says about the Virtus room.

"Obviously, looking around, you see photos of Ginobili, I remember the year in San Antonio when we won the NBA title."

"The great help he gave me at the beginning, especially in understanding the San Antonio system. Manu has always been an idol for me. I had him at Virtus at 16, then in San Antonio. Things that I will never forget."

Belinelli also revealed his retirement plans, stating that the decision will be made at the end of this season:

“Age is a number, the important thing is to try to stay physically healthy. Try to stay positive, have the desire and the inner fire to be able to still show that you want to play and win."

"It will be a decision that I will make at the end of the season. Obviously, when I retire, I will miss it. I have been playing basketball since I was 6 years old, it is normal when you stop."

"But I will recover, I will try to occupy myself with other things. I do not know if in the world of basketball or something else."

"I will try to do it in the calmest and most positive way possible, and in my own way. That is, trying to finish while I am still an important player," Belinelli concluded.
