Luka Doncic revealed that he watches Real Madrid’s soccer and basketball teams whenever he has free time.
Los Angeles Lakers superstar Luka Doncic has always stayed connected to his roots, and that includes his love for Real Madrid.
When asked if he watches and supports Real Madrid’s soccer and basketball teams, Doncic made it clear that he follows them whenever he gets the chance.
"Every time I can, every time I'm not doing anything, practicing or playing. I'm watching those, I mean both teams," Doncic said, per Ryan Ward
Doncic started his professional career with Real Madrid’s basketball team before making the jump to the NBA, where he quickly became one of the league’s biggest stars.
With Madrid, Luka won the EuroLeague trophy and was named the MVP of the regular season and of the Final Four in the 2017-18 season. That season, he averaged 16 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 4.3 assists per game.
This season in the NBA, Doncic averages 26.4 points, 8.4 rebounds, and 7.7 assists per game. He is shooting 45.1% from the field and 33.7% from three.
