The Miami Heat will be without forward Nikola Jovic for an extended period, as the team has confirmed he suffered a fracture in the second metacarpal of his right hand.

Serbian forward injured his hand in the game against the Milwaukee Bucks on Sunday, after colliding with Bucks forward Kyle Kuzma.

Jovic will remain in a splint for the foreseeable future and is set to be re-evaluated in four weeks, according to the team's official statement.

Nikola Jovic has been a key contributor to the Heat’s rotation this season, averaging 10.7 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 2.8 assists in 46 games played.
