Per Basketnews sources, Monaco did not submit the highest financial offer, as Panathinaikos AKTOR Athens put forth the most lucrative proposal.

Before leaving for the NBA to join Boston Celtics, Daniel Theis spent three seasons with Brose Bamberg in Germany, where he made his debut in the Euroleague.
Over eight NBA seasons, he appeared in 411 games for the Celtics, Chicago Bulls, Indiana Pacers, Los Angeles Clippers, and New Orleans Pelicans, averaging 7.1 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 1.3 assists in 18.8 minutes per game.
