Shaquille O'Neal criticized the Indiana Pacers after their 128-115 loss to the New York Knicks, stating that the Knicks "own" them.
The Indiana Pacers are hitting a rough patch, and Shaquille O'Neal isn’t holding back. Following Indiana’s 128-115 home loss to the New York Knicks on Tuesday night, the Hall of Fame big man delivered a blunt take on "NBA on TNT."

"I think it's safe to say the Knicks own the Pacers right now, mentally and physically," O'Neal said, reacting to Indiana’s struggles.
The Pacers, now 29-23, have cooled off significantly since losing Myles Turner to a cervical strain last week. His absence was felt as Karl-Anthony Towns dominated with 40 points and 12 rebounds, while Josh Hart added 30 points and 10 boards on 12-of-16 shooting.
For the Pacers, Pascal Siakam scored 24 points and grabbed 5 boards, Tyrese Haliburton added 16 points, 5 rebounds, and 8 assists.
WNBA legend and fellow analyst Candace Parker pushed back on Shaq’s claim, pointing out that Indiana eliminated New York in last year’s playoffs. While the Knicks are surging, it may be too early to call this a one-sided rivalry.
Still, with Turner sidelined and the Pacers struggling defensively, Shaq’s comments might not be far off, at least for now.
The Pacers are 4th in the Eastern Conference with a 29-23 record. They are right behind the Knicks who have a 35-18 record and are 3rd.
