12-year NBA veteran Alex Len will no longer be signing with the Indiana Pacers, according to Dustin Dopirak of the Indianapolis Star. Len initially planned to join Indiana after being waived by the Washington Wizards, per ESPN's Shams Charania.

Instead, the Pacers have signed former No. 3 overall pick Jahlil Okafor to a 10-day contract.

Meanwhile, Len has drawn interest from the Los Angeles Lakers. According to Evan Sidery of Forbes, the two sides have had mutual interest since the Lakers' trade for center Mark Williams fell through.

Williams, who was expected to fill the team's need for a big man, failed his physicals.

Len was traded from the Sacramento Kings to the Wizards at the deadline and was promptly waived.

The 7-foot center, drafted No. 5 overall in 2013, has played for the Suns, Hawks, Kings, Wizards, and Raptors. This season, he has averaged 1.4 points and 1.8 rebounds over 36 games with Sacramento.
