Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards commented on his altercation with Dillon Brooks during the game against the Rockets, saying he plays 'dirty'.

Things between Anthony Edwards and Dillon Brooks got heated in Minnesota Timberwolves win against the Houston Rockets 127-114.

Anthony Edwards said he fell on the ground after being hit in the head by Brooks, after which both players got into it, and tangled up mid-court. Edwards commented on this situation, mentioning Brooks' reputation as a dirty player.

“Everybody know how Dillon Brooks is, man. He play dirty. He’s a competitor. I love the competing part, but all the little slick little dirty s--t..." Edwards stated unhappiness with Dillon Brooks in the interview after the game.

Edwards ended up 41 points, 7 rebound and 6 assists in this game. With this performance he became all-time Timberwolves leader in 40+ point games, with 14. Karl-Anthony Towns is second with 13 games. 

Moreover, he became the youngest player in NBA history to hit 1000+ three-pointers.

Anthony Edwards has averaged 27.2 points, 5.8 rebounds and 4.5 assists in 51 games this season, and will make his third All-Star game appearance this month.
