Golden State Warriors reportedly internally discussed moving on from Draymond Green before the trade deadline.
The Golden State Warriors are looking to improve their roster as trade deadline approaches tomorrow. Many star players has been linked with the Warriors, but in order to get a player like that might need to move one of their most important players.
According to Sam Amick of The Athletic, the Warriors had talks internally to move on from Draymond Green, who can be traded to acquire star player before the deadline.
“They're in the middle of this desperate time where they're trying to get another star, and as of yesterday, we're looking at it going, ‘Oh boy, they might actually get off Draymond,' or do something like that where the loyalty questions come into play with a situation like that. I don't think that's gonna happen, but it's 100% been discussed internally,” Sam Amick said on the Run It Back show.
Former Defensive Player of the Year, Green, has averaged 8.3 points, 6.1 rebounds and 5.4 assists in 35 games this season.
