The Los Angeles Lakers are interested in adding Charlotte Hornets forward Cody Martin before the trade deadline.
The Los Angeles Lakers are still exploring ways to strengthen their roster ahead of the February 6 trade deadline.
According to Michael Scotto of HoopsHype, the Lakers are among several championship-contending teams, including the Denver Nuggets and Milwaukee Bucks, interested in acquiring Charlotte Hornets forward Cody Martin.
Previously, the Lakers were linked to Cody's twin brother, Caleb Martin, but Miami Heat traded him to the Dallas Mavericks yesterday.
This season, Cody Martin is averaging 7.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 2.3 assists in 24.8 minutes per game. He is currently in the third year of a four-year, $31 million contract.
