One of AEK Betsson Athens' top players, Mindaugas Kuzminskas, could be on the move. According to Lukas Malinauskas from BasketNews, the 35-year-old forward has drawn interest from several European teams, and his contract with the Greek club allows for an in-season transfer.

Manisa Basket is reportedly one of the most interested suitors, per sources. The Turkish club, currently seeking roster upgrades, has its new head coach, Kazys Maksvytis, eyeing his countryman.
Maksvytis and Kuzminskas have previously teamed up on the Lithuanian national team, where Kuzminskas played an important role during EuroBasket 2022 (10.0 PPG, 2.5 RPG) and the 2023 FIBA World Cup (9.6 PPG, 3.8 RPG).
Another Turkish team, Karsiyaka Izmir, has also expressed interest in Kuzminskas, who played for them during the 2022-23 BCL season, averaging 10.3 points and 4.4 rebounds.
Other BCL teams are also monitoring his situation closely, sources tell BasketNews.
This season, Kuzminskas is averaging 11.5 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 2.3 assists in 25 minutes per game, helping AEK to a strong 3-1 start in the BCL. He ranks in the top three on the team in scoring and is second in efficiency.
In the Greek league, Kuzminskas leads AEK in both scoring (16.2 PPG) and efficiency (19.8 EFF) while also contributing 3.7 rebounds and 2.0 assists in 25 minutes per game.
Now in his second season with AEK, Kuzminskas has been invited to join Lithuania's national team for the upcoming 2025 EuroBasket Qualifiers window after an impressive start to the year.
