According to Shams Charania from ESPN, Isaiah Jackson has torn his Achilles tendon and will miss the entire 2024-25 NBA season.
Jackson is scheduled to undergo surgery on Monday, November 4th.
The 22-year-old tore his Achilles during Friday's game against the New Orleans Pelicans. As Brandon Ingram attempted a mid-range shot, Jackson jumped to contest it and immediately grabbed his right leg upon rising up. He had to leave the game early.
Jackson wasn't the only player the Pacers potentially lost for a significant amount of time. Aaron Nesmith also left the game early after injuring his ankle in the second quarter. There currently is no update regarding the guard's status.
Jackson averaged 7 points and 5.6 rebounds in his five games with the Pacers. Meanwhile, Nesmith is a regular starter, averaging 9.2 points and 4 rebounds per game.
