Juancho Hernangomez shared his thoughts on why they managed to defeat their rivals despite an incredible performance from Giannis Antetokoumnpo.

"They have great players. Giannis [Antetokoumnpo] is one of the best players in the world," Hernangomez said to Donatas Urbonas of BasketNews after the win. "We won this game because we played as a team, and everybody was fighting for one goal."

Giannis finished the game with 27 points (12/17 FG, 0/1 3PT, 3/5 FT), 11 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals, 4 turnovers, and 32 EFF.

Despite various attempts, Spain still struggled to contain the Greek star.

"We can try a lot of different things, but he can score whenever he wants. We try to make his day tougher," said Panathinaikos Athens forward.

Finally, Hernangomez shared his thoughts on Rudy Fernandez, once again expressing his respect for Spain's captain.

"He is the captain, he is the leader, he is a winner. He won everything with this jersey. 39 years old, does not skip summers, wants to be here and lead us by example, so proud to play along him," Hernangomez concluded to BasketNews.
