The Dallas Mavericks won't have Dereck Lively for their remaining games in the regular season.

Mavericks head coach Jason Kidd confirmed the news before the team's 111-92 win over the Miami Heat as reported by Brad Townsend of The Dallas Morning News.

Lively has been sidelined since March 31 due to a right knee sprain and has yet to practice with the team.

The 20-year-old center has been averaging 8.8 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 1.4 blocks in 55 games this season.

The Mavericks have already secured a postseason berth, currently 5th in the West with a 50-30 record.
