Former NBA and current Rio Breogan player Ben McLemore has been arrested on several grave charges, primarily first-degree rape.

Ben McLemore, a player of Rio Breogan, has been arrested on several damning charges.

According to KGW 8, McLemore has been accused of first-degree rape, first-degree unlawful sexual penetration and second-degree sexual abuse.

He was taken to the Clackamas County Jail in Oregon on Tuesday with an outstanding warrant and will be summoned to the county's circuit court on Wednesday afternoon local time.

He has since paid a $50,000 bail to be released. The next hearing is scheduled for July 1st.

McLemore played in the NBA between 2013 and 2022. He was selected 7th in the 2013 NBA Draft and has appeared in teams such as the Sacramento Kings and the Portland Trail Blazers.

He then played in Shandong Hi-Speed Kirin in the Chinese Basketball Association before moving to AEK Athens and then to Rio Breogan. His last appearance with the Spanish team was on April 6 against Zunder Palencia in the Liga Endesa.
