Just five days before the game between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Oklahoma Thunder next Wednesday morning (04:00 CET, Tuesday night in the States), whereby LeBron James is expected to become the leading scorer in the history of the NBA, a ticket to witness the moment live can cost up to $30,208.

The ticket itself costs $23,660 but to that you have to add more than $6,500 of management expenses.

According to last Thursday night's data from StubHub, the reference portal for legal resale in the United States, the ticket to witness the record - if everything goes according to plan and LeBron will be suiting up - is the most expensive among those currently available on the website.

According to NBC Los Angeles, when it comes to sitting courtside, the price for a pair of corner seats near the purple and gold hardwood has skyrocketed.

The listing on the Ticketmaster website, labeled as verified resale tickets, has the two seats priced at $200,000. Then there’s the added $46,000 service fee and $2.95 for order processing.

Once you've purchased the tickets, there’s no going back. "All Sales Final. No refunds or Exchanges," the website says at checkout.

On the other hand, the cheapest ticket of those on sale StubHub amounts to 386 dollars (expenses included) in section 306, which is an upper corner of the Crypto.com Arena in LA.

LeBron, who scored 26 points last Thursday in the Lakers' victory over the Indiana Pacers, is only 63 points away from surpassing the legendary mark of Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (38,387 points).

Considering that he is averaging 30.2 points per game and that the Lakers face the New Orleans Pelicans on Saturday, it is most likely that LeBron will achieve the record either on Tuesday (Feb. 8) against the OKC or on Thursday (Feb. 10) against the Milwaukee Bucks. Both games will be played in Los Angeles).
