Real Madrid officially announced that the club and Trey Thompkins go separate ways.
The 32-year-old power forward has been a member of the Royal club since 2015.
During the 7-season tenure in the Spanish capital, Thompkins has won 13 titles: one EuroLeague trophy, one FIBA Intercontinental Cup, four ACB league golden accolades, three Spanish Cups, and four Spanish Super Cups.
Last season, which was marked by off-court incidents, he averaged 5.3 points, 2.1 rebounds, and 3.6 PIR over 14 EuroLeague duels.
Prior to the stint in Real, Trey Thompkins played for Nizhny Novgorod (2014-15) and the Los Angeles Clippers (2011-13).
The 37th overall pick in the 2011 draft has NBA career averages of 2.4 points and 1.0 rebound in 24 matches.
