The return of Sergio Rodríguez is the first move Real Madrid has made for next season. The player had a renewal offer from AX Armani Exchange Milan, but, after six years away from Spain (one with the Philadelphia 76ers, two with CSKA Moscow and three with Armani), he has prioritized returning to Madrid with his family.

The signing Anadolu Efes' Shane Larkin has become impossible for Real, because, the back-to-back EuroLeague champions are willing to spend a huge amount of money for their superstar which will be unaffordable for Royal club.

Therefore, Real have turned their attention to Pierria Henry. The former Baskonia player was already a target for Madrid a year ago but then the move did not materialise and he ended up at Fenerbahce.

At the moment, the plan is also to keep Nigel Williams-Goss, who was injured in the semifinal against Barca and will not play again this season. The club initially wanted to cut the American's remaining contract for the next season, but his improvement in recent weeks have led them to reconsider their decision.

Less clear is the future of Carlos Alocen, who is seriously injured and is not expected to play again until early next season. In principle, Real Madrid do not count on him and will try to find a way out of his contract which is valid until June 2024.
