Paris Lee posted a goodbye message to the whole AS Monaco organization on his social media account.
"Year 5 in the books. Thank you AS Monaco for allowing me the opportunity to compete in one of the best leagues in the world, the EuroLeague. To my teammates... I appreciate you all for making this a season I will never forget. Good luck to you all and God bless. Number 5 out," Lee wrote on Instagram.
As it was reported earlier, the 27-year-old point guard is expected to join Panathinaikos OPAP Athens on a two-year deal.
The American athlete averaged 7.2 points, 1.4 rebounds, 2.4 assists, and 7.0 PIR over 36 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague games (19 minutes) last season.
He had an even bigger role in the French league, posting 11.0 points, 1.8 rebounds, 4.7 assists, and 12.3 PIR in 26 domestic duels (24 minutes).
Before joining the Monegasques' squad, Lee played in Belgium (Antwerp Giants), Germany (Brose Bamberg), and France (Orleans Loiret Basket).
