The EuroLeague regular season ended tonight officially, although Maccabi Tel Aviv still need to play one more game against Fenerbahce next week. And precisely Maccabi Tel Aviv's game against Fenerbahce next week will give us the full playoff picture.
Tonight, though, we already know two of the quarter-finals that will be played. Barcelona, the no.1 seed, will face Bayern Munich, the eighth seed. While Greek side Olympiacos, who finished the regular season in second place, will face Monaco Basket, the seventh seed.
Armani Exchange Milan secured the third seed, while Real Madrid, who lost their final game against Bayern Munich, will have the fourth seed.
The fifth and the sixth seed still need to be decided. If Maccabi Tel Aviv will win their final game against Fenerbahce, they'll get the fifth spot, otherwise, Efes will finish as the fifth team and Maccabi as the sixth.
