Bitci Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz (13-11) snapped their two-game losing skid at the Spanish Liga ACB, defeating to the visiting Leche Rio Breogan (11-12) 89-84 (14-24, 18-18, 27-21, 30-21).
Breogan started the game well, winning the first period by 10 points and maintaining the double-digit advantage after two quarters of play (42-32). However, Baskonia went on a 10-0 run at the start of the third period, tying the game at 45.
The game was tied at 74 but Jayson Granger scored five quick, Alec Peters added a deuce, and Baskonia pulled away by five (81-76). Breogan cut their deficit to three with 43 seconds remaining (82-85), but Peters converted both free throws, bringing their fans a five-point Baskonia victory.
