Spanish powerhouse Real Madrid and French forward Guerschon Yabusele have officially agreed to a three-year contract extension until 2025, the Spanish team announced in a press release.
Yabusele, the 16th pick overall in the 2016 NBA Draft, has quickly become a key player for Real Madrid this season after arriving from ASVEL.
The French forward is averaging 12.4 points, 4.5 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 1.3 steals per game while shooting 38.6% from three-point in EuroLeague.
For Real Madrid, this is a key extension, considering that the player was supposed to hit the free agency this summer.
Before coming back to Europe, Yabusele had played one season in China.
