Eurocup French side Nanterre 92 officially announced the signing of American forward Thomas Wimbush for the upcoming season. Wimbush spent last season in Turkey with Petkim Spor, averaging 10.5 points and 5.1 rebounds per game.
A very athletic player with good defensive abilities, Wimbush began his pro career in the G League, playing for the Long Island Nets for two seasons. His first stint in Europe was in the 2019-2020 season when he played for Ludwigsburg in Germany, averaging 10.2 points and 3.1 rebounds per game.
In the past few days, Nanterre had also announced the signing of former Zalgiris Kaunas forward Patricio Garino.
