EuroLeague champions have officially announced the acquisition of the Serbian big man on Tuesday. The deal is for one season.
Filip Petrusev (21, 2.11) was selected with the 50th overall pick by the Philadelphia 76ers in the 2021 NBA Draft.
Recently he made his NBA Summer League debut. In four games Petrusev averaged 4.3 points and 2.8 rebounds in 17 minutes of playing time.
Last season he spent with Mega Soccerbet (Adriatic Basketball League) where he averaged 23.6 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 3.8 assists in 21 games. He was named regular season MVP.
This summer Petrusev was one of the leaders of the Serbian national team. In the FIBA Men's Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Serbia, Belgrade, he averaged 15.5 points and 5 rebounds in 19 minutes of playing time.
