FC Barcelona announced Sertac Sanli's two-year contract. Sanli was rumored to join the Catalans, however, the deal is now official.
Sanli played his entire career in the Turkish Basketball Super League. He has been a member of Galatasaray, Darussafaka, Tofas Bursa, Muratbey Usak Sportif, Trabzonspor and Besiktas S.J.
The 2.12 center spent his last three seasons with Anadolu Efes and was instrumental in their EuroLeague trophy win last year. Sanli scored 19 points and grabbed eight rebounds in the semifinals game against CSKA Moscow. The Turkish big man had 12 points and two boards against his new team in the EuroLeague final.
Sanli averaged 7.8 points, 2.2 rebounds, and 7.3 EFF over 14 minutes in 34 EuroLeague games last year. He accumulated 8.5 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 10.6 EFF in 25 Turkish League games.
