Anadolu Efes Istanbul is expected to add the Serbian big man to their roster, according to Emiliano Carchia of Sportando.

Filip Petrusev was selected with the 50th overall pick by the Philadelphia 76ers in the 2021 NBA Draft.

Recently he made his NBA Summer League debut. In his first game, a 95–73 win against the Dallas Mavericks, the 21-year-old (2.10) had 5 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 blocks in 19 minutes.

Last season he spent with KK Mega Basket (Adriatic Basketball League) where he averaged 23.6 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 3.8 assists in 21 games. He was named regular season MVP.

This summer Petrusev was one of the leaders of the Serbian national team. In the FIBA Men's Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Serbia, Belgrade, he averaged 15.5 points and 5 rebounds in 19 minutes of playing time.
