Ziga Samar loaned for the rest of the season in Liga ACB

Gran Canaria found themselves in big problems as Carlos Alocen suffered a second tear of his anterior cruciate ligament of his knee. Former EuroCup champion reacted quick and found a temporary replacement for Alocen, as Ziga Samar will be joining on loan from ALBA Berlin for the rest of the season, according to Chema de Lucas.

ALBA Berlin continue signing young prospects with the hope of becoming the catapult to their careers. The German club has announced the signing of 21-yar-old Slovenian guard Ziga Samar to a four-year contract.
