Kendrick Nunn was named the 2024–25 EuroLeague regular season MVP and reacted to the honor on X with a bold message.
Kendrick Nunn is officially the 2024–25 EuroLeague regular season MVP, and he had something to say about it.
After being named the league's most valuable player, the Panathinaikos AKTOR Athens star took to social media to share his reaction.
In a post on X, Nunn didn’t hold back when addressing the look of the MVP trophy and how he feels it should match the significance of the award.
"I just hope the MVP of the season award looks a lot different than the MVP of the month award put some respect on it," Nunn wrote.
The comment comes just weeks after Nunn made headlines for being left out of the March-April MVP award despite having a significantly higher performance index rating (PIR) than the winner, Walter Tavares.
Nunn averaged a PIR of 26.1 in that span compared to Tavares’ 21.3, sparking plenty of debate among fans and even a reaction from Nunn himself at the time.
He averaged 21.1 points, 4.3 assists, and 3.6 rebounds per EuroLeague game in the Regular Season.
