Minnesota Timberwolves surprised the Los Angeles Lakers in Game 1 last night.

Anthony Edwards was crucial in Timberwolves' win with 22 points, 9 assists and 8 rebounds.

Edwards was ironic after the match, taking a direct jab at reporters after the game:

"The Lakers are supposed to win. That’s just how it’s supposed to go. We’re not supposed to be here, so we’re just going to compete," Edwards said, per ESPN's Dave McMenamin.

Timberwolves took a 1-0 lead in the series and now hold home court advantage in the series.
