Gregg Popovich was taken to the hospital Tuesday night after fainting at a restaurant in San Antonio, according to TMZ.

Officials said they received a call about an elderly person who had fainted while eating dinner.

TMZ reports the 76-year-old coach was stretchered out and may still be dealing with the effects of a mild stroke he suffered in November.

According to Shams Charania of ESPN, Popovich is now home, stable, and doing fine.

Popovich has stepped away from the San Antonio Spurs to focus on his health, with assistant coach Mitch Johnson serving as interim head coach in his absence.

It was announced in February that Popovich would not return for the remainder of the season.

Widely considered one of the greatest basketball coaches of all time, Popovich led the Spurs to five NBA championships and guided Team USA to a gold medal at the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo. He is also the winningest coach in NBA history.
