The All-EuroLeague First Team member for 2024-25 will miss several weeks of action, per the same report.

Edwards had already played through discomfort in the opening Play-In Tournament game against Crvena Zvezda, a 97-93 overtime win, but his injury now requires further evaluation.

The 27-year-old scored 17 points vs. Zvezda on Tuesday. Edwards has averaged 20.4 points per game over 35 games this EuroLeague season.

Throughout the season, Bayern coach Gordon Herbert had rested Edwards several times in the German League, with the guard sitting out five of 27 games.
