Chicago Bulls season ended in all-too-familiar fashion, falling to the Miami Heat 109-90 in the NBA Play-In Tournament.

For the third straight year, the Bulls were eliminated by the Heat in the play-in, continuing a frustrating cycle for the franchise.

Miami came out firing, dropping 39 points in the first quarter and never looking back. Tyler Herro led the charge, hitting his first eight shots and finishing with 38 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists.

Andrew Wiggins added 20 points and nine boards, while Bam Adebayo chipped in with 15 points and 12 rebounds.

The Bulls had beaten the Heat three times in the regular season, but couldn’t match Miami’s energy when it counted.

Josh Giddey led Chicago with 25 points and 10 rebounds. Coby White added 17, but struggled from the field, shooting 5-for-20. Nikola Vucevic added a 16-point, 12-rebound double-double.

The Bulls finished the season with a 39-43 record, marking their third consecutive losing season and third straight exit in the play-in round.
