Lorenzo Brown talked to Meridian Sport after Panathinaikos won against Zvezda, claiming he'd be glad to return to Zvezda, but remains focused on Panathinaikos.
Lorenzo Brown is not playing as expected in Panathinaikos Aktor Athens, but is still an important part of the rotation.
After his team won against Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet Belgrade, he talked to Meridian Sport about the game and his role with Panathinaikos:
"I feel good, it was a very competitive match. Everyone gave their best and we won in the end, that's all it matters."
"From my side, I think I could've helped the team more, maybe play a little bit more, but that's not always in my control. Speaking about the team, I think we are great, we are deep, I hope we'll use that in the playoffs."
Brown also recalled his memories from days in Zvezda, as it was his first team in Europe during 2019-20 season:
"Zvezda is an important place for me as my journey [in Europe] started there, love is always present when I'm there," Brown recalled.
"Unfortunately COVID started then, so everything stopped a bit earlier than we thought, just as we were pushing for the playoffs."
"I'd definitely love to play for Zvezda again, who wouldn't want to? Atmosphere is one of the best in the league, they're better every year, I hope to see them in the playoffs."
Brown also recalled on the latest rumors about him potentially leaving Panathinaikos:
"Actually, I'm not paying much attention to the newspapers and media, who knows what will happen? I have a three-year contract and I'm focused on next years," Brown concluded.
