Andrew Wiggins made his return to the lineup after missing six straight games with a hamstring injury.
"I felt solid," Wiggins said about coming back from the hamstring injury, via The Miami Herald. "If you’re out there on the court, then no complaints. You got to be 100 percent, so I felt good."
Wiggins also talked about how good it felt to be back out there with his teammates and the work he put in to return strong.
"Yeah. I mean, just rehabbing, putting in work, trying to fix, you know, the issue, and it feels good being back," he said. "You know, the team fighting, it's a big game we lost, but just got to stay with it and believe in ourselves. And the journey is going to be a little harder, but it’s nothing that we can’t handle."
The 30-year-old former No. 1 overall pick has had a frustrating stint with the Heat so far, missing 15 of Miami’s 30 games since joining the squad.
Despite the missed games, Wiggins has been productive when he’s suited up. Following Wednesday’s game, he’s averaging 19.6 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 3.3 assists per game while shooting 46.6% from the floor and 37.5% from deep.
