According to NBA insider Marc Stein, April 10th will be a night to remember, with the Dallas Mavericks set to honor Doncic in a unique way.
"I’m told that the Mavericks plan to introduce Luka Doncic last among the Lakers’ starters Wednesday night," Stein reported. "With t-shirts also planned bearing a thank you message in Luka’s native Slovenian."
Doncic in the 2023-24 season led the Mavericks to the NBA finals, where the Mavs lost against the Boston Celtics in the series 4-1.
While playing for the Dallas, Luka averaged 28.6 points, 8.7 rebounds, and 8.3 assists per game.
As a Laker, he averages 27.1 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 7.6 assists per game in 26 games played. He shoots 42% from the field and 36% from the arc.
