Zalgiris coach Andrea Trinchieri was inspired with words after Partizan win, stating how his team overcame offensive woes to win.
Zalgiris Kaunas won against Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade in Zalgirio Arena, eliminating Partizan from play-in hunt.
Andrea Trinchieri thinks that the win was deserved, even though he admits his team had problems offensively:
"We were like hot dog without mustard in the first half. Game was a must-win for Partizan, and you miss one penny to become a millionaire with every missed shot, it was a game like that," Trinchieri started.
"It was a game with two very good, athletic defenses, when we didn't score on offense we didn't give up on defense. My team didn't find their flow on offense but never gave up on defense and I think it's a deserved win."
Trinchieri also regrets that there will be no more Euroleague games at home for Zalgiris this season as they are also eliminated:
"I hate that this was the last game, I wanted to play more with these fans," Trinchieri concluded.
