This season, Giffey is averaging 6.1 points and 1.8 rebounds per game in the EuroLeague for Bayern, helping his team secure a spot in the playoff positions as they currently sit fifth in the standings with a 19-13 record.
He began his professional career with Alba Berlin, where he played for seven seasons before transferring to Zalgiris Kaunas, where he spent one season.
Giffey also contributed to the German national team’s success, helping them win the FIBA World Cup in 2023 and claim the bronze medal at the 2022 EuroBasket.
