Despite initial skepticism from critics, George has found comfort in discussing the game on his own terms.

"When I started my podcast, I knew there was going to be some backlash. I knew there were going to be people that had things to say about it: 'He’s an athlete. He should be in the gym 24 hours out of the day,'" George shared, per Sportico.

However, the 76ers forward dismissed the idea that podcasting takes away from his focus on basketball. Instead, he sees it as a valuable way to express himself and share insights about the sport.

"But to be honest, it’s therapeutic. It’s a chance for me to talk about things that go on in sports that I probably [otherwise] would hold onto," George added.

This season, the 34-year-old is putting up 16.2 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 4.3 assists per game.
