However, fans shouldn't be too concerned, as reports indicate that their absences were primarily for maintenance reasons during the second leg of a back-to-back set.
"In general, these guys are kind of day-to-day," Jovan Buha of The Athletic said on his podcast. "Most of these guys are banged up in terms of Luka, Austin, DFS [Dorian Finney-Smith], Vando [Jarred Vanderbilt]. The group has really been hit hard by the injury bug."
The LA Lakers have faced a challenging stretch of six games in eight days, finishing with a 3-3 record.
Doncic had previously missed the second leg of a back-to-back at Denver Nuggets due to calf management and an ankle sprain.
Since joining the Lakers in a trade, the Slovenian star has averaged 26.5 points, 8.8 rebounds, and 8.0 assists over 16 games. However, he has struggled with injuries, including lingering calf issues, as well as ankle and back problems.
Reaves, meanwhile, is averaging 19.6 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 6.0 assists over 61 appearances this season.
Currently, the Lakers hold the No. 4 seed in the Western Conference with a 43-26 record.
