Golden State Warriors are experiencing a really good stretch after trading for Jimmy Butler at the trade deadline. Warriors won 8 of their last 10 games and jumped to a sixth place in the Western Conference with a 35-28 record.

Seeing the success they have with an upgraded roster, the Warriors might look to improve it even more this offseason by trading for another All-Star caliber player.

Svyato Rovenchuk of the Athlon Sports, says there's a chance LaMelo Ball could be the player they are looking at this offseason, as the Hornets might look to deal their star, after not having much team success with him during his time in Charlotte.

Ball's value on the trade market would largely dictate whether the Warriors can field a competitive offer. The financial aspects of this trade would also be difficult to figure out, considering how much of Golden State's cap will be tied up in the recently-acquired Butler and Stephen Curry.

Any deal for the Hornets star would likely need to involve Draymond Green for financial reasons. The Warriors would be left with just one cog from the famous Golden Dynasty.

LaMelo Ball is averaging 26.2 points, 7.0 assists and 5.4 rebounds in 39 games this season for the Hornets, establishing himself among the best young guards in the league.
