Center Freddie Gillespie sustained a head injury, and star forward Nikola Mirotic was forced to leave the game in the third quarter due to "strong pain in his right side," as per Milan’s official announcement.

Today, Milan confirmed that Mirotic underwent a series of medical tests, which ruled out bone lesions or fractures in his left hip after the contusive trauma he suffered during the game. Further medical evaluations are expected in the coming days to assess the full extent of the injury.

Mirotic has been one of the standout performers for Milan this season, contributing 18.2 points, 6.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and an average of 22.4 PIR per game.

His absence would be a major blow to the team, making the already challenging task of securing a playoff spot even more difficult. Currently, Milan is ninth in the standings with a 15-13 record, and without Mirotic's leadership and scoring ability, their playoff aspirations are in jeopardy.
