Cleveland Cavaliers became the first team to clinch the playoffs this season, after a win against the Miami Heat 112-107 to extend their winning streak to 12 wins.
The Cleveland Cavaliers phenomenal season continues, as they became the first team in the NBA this season to clinch a spot in the playoffs after a win against the Miami Heat 112-107.
Donovan Mitchell was the main man for Cleveland in this one, scoring 26 points and adding 7 rebounds.
This win marked their 12 game winning streak. Earlier this week the Cavs became only the seventh team in history of the NBA, to have three 10-game winning streaks in the same season, via Sports Illustrated.
Currently sitting comfortably at the top of the Eastern Conference with a 52-10 record, the Cavs have a very realistic chance to beat their franchise's best regular season record, reached in 2008-09 season. LeBron James then led the Cavs to a 66 wins and later the Conference Finals appearance.
