Washington Wizards tried to bring Bradley Beal back at this trade deadline, but it was deemed unsuccessful.
The Washington Wizards reportedly gave serious consideration to reacquiring Bradley Beal during the recent trade deadline.
Despite their interest, there was no indication that Beal would have waived his no-trade clause to facilitate a return to Washington.
Earlier reports indicated that only the Wizards and the Atlanta Hawks were seriously open to acquiring Beal. However, Beal has expressed hesitation about relocating, as he is reportedly reluctant to uproot his family by agreeing to a trade.
Beal, 31, remains under contract for two more seasons, with nearly $111 million left on his current deal.
His long-term commitment and no-trade clause continue to make potential trade discussions complex for any interested teams.
Over his 13-season career with the Wizards and Suns, Beal has averaged 21.7 points, 4.3 assists, and 4.1 rebounds in 790 regular-season games, earning three All-Star selections.
