His impressive display drew high praise from Celtics star Jayson Tatum, who strongly endorsed Pritchard for the NBA’s Sixth Man of the Year award.
"He's unbelievable, what he brings to the team on a given night, especially off the bench," Tatum said after the game. "We got a few weeks left, but he got to be Sixth Man of the Year."

He has been a consistent threat from beyond the arc, shooting 41.1% from three-point range. Thursday’s game marked his 17th 20-point performance of the season.
With the win, the Celtics improved to 40-16, holding the second seed in the Eastern Conference and trailing the first-place Cleveland Cavaliers by 5.5 games.
Boston will look to extend its four-game winning streak when they host the New York Knicks in a crucial division matchup on Sunday.
