Cleveland Cavaliers duo Donovan Mitchell and Evan Mobley won the NBA All-Star 2025 Skills Challenge, marking the team's second win since the event's team format was introduced in 2022.
NBA All-Star weekend was filled with excitement for Cleveland Cavaliers fans, with the city’s superstar duo of Donovan Mitchell and Evan Mobley leading Team Cavs to victory in the 2025 NBA Skills Challenge.
The event, which took place on the second day of the All-Star festivities, saw the Cavaliers make history as the first team to win the Skills Challenge twice since it became a team format in 2022.
The 2025 Skills Challenge format involved a two-player team competing in a timed obstacle course that included making corner threes, hitting free throws, and passing through targets.
While the Cavs duo had a rocky start with missed shots and a fumbled ball, they powered through, advancing to the finals by beating two other teams.
In the final round, they faced the Golden State Warriors duo, who had set the fastest time in the first round. Despite the home-court advantage for the Warriors, Mobley and Mitchell found their rhythm.
Mobley’s skill in navigating the course and making crucial shots, along with Mitchell’s elite passing, allowed the Cavs to outperform their opponents and claim the title.
