Brandon Ingram declined a $160 million offer from the New Orleans Pelicans before accepting a $120 million deal with the Toronto Raptors and agreeing to a three-year extension.
Brandon Ingram reportedly declined a $160 million offer from the New Orleans Pelicans before accepting a $120 million deal with the Toronto Raptors, according to Jake Fischer.
This decision means he has effectively lost $40 million in the short term.
On Tuesday, Ingram agreed to a three-year extension with the Raptors after moving to Canada from the Pelicans in a trade that sent Bruce Brown and Kelly Olynyk to New Orleans ahead of the February 6 deadline.
Ingram has been sidelined since early December due to an ankle injury. This season, he is averaging 22.2 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 5.2 assists over 18 games.
His new contract with the Raptors includes a player option for the 2027-28 season.
