WNBA superstar Caitlin Clark has denied an invitation to participate in the 2025 NBA 3-Point contest.
WNBA sensation Caitlin Clark has been one of the brightest young basketball stars in recent years. Following last year's NBA 3-point showdown between Stephen Curry and WNBA's Sabrina Ionescu, the NBA is eager to continue inviting the league’s top shooters to compete against the best of the NBA.

In April, Shams Charania reported that the NBA was considering a 2-on-2, 3-point contest featuring Clark and Ionescu against Steph Curry and Klay Thompson.
According to the Sports Business Journal, Clark has denied NBA's invitation to participate in next month’s NBA 3-point contest. However, discussions between the league and her representatives are reportedly ongoing.
Sources told SBJ that Clark is not interested in shooting off a ball rack, as her practice routine focuses solely on catch-and-shoot threes or shots off the dribble. Unless she changes her mind, she is expected to decline the invitation.
It’s no surprise that the NBA wants to feature Clark during its All-Star Weekend. Wherever she plays, she boosts ratings. Since being drafted first overall by Indiana in the 2024 WNBA Draft, WNBA ticket sales have surged by 93 percent. Several teams have even relocated home games against the Fever to larger arenas to accommodate demand. Last season, the Fever sold out 16 of their 20 home games.
