The Nets head coach Jordi Fernandez talked to the media before the game, and addressed Cam Johnson's ankle situation. He re-injured his ankle during the game against the New York Knicks last week.

He’ll be reevaluated I think next week. He’s out right now,” Fernandez said before tipoff at Barclays Center on Monday. “

Johnson first injured his ankle on Jan. 2 in a win against the Bucks. The coach emphasized the importance of having Johnson in their lineup, but says now it's important to get him healthy and deal with the situation.

"Obviously we want him to get that ankle right. He was good when he came back," Fernandez said.

"We love having Cam Johnson, because you guys know his leadership and also the impact he has for us, but right now this is the situation that we have to deal with," coach praised Johnson's impact for their team.

Cam Johnson is averaging 19.4 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 2.9 assists this year for the Nets.
