Kyle Kuzma states that he won't try to fit in anymore in the direction of the Washington Wizards, claiming he is focused on playing his game like he's used to do.
Washington Wizards are a franchise oriented on developing their young prospects at the moment, not having much pressure about the results right now.
That can also cause a counter-effect with more experienced players, and it looks like it just may have been the case with Kyle Kuzma.
In an interview with Joshua Robbins of The Athletic, Kuzma stated that he gives up on settling with the direction of Washington, and will focus on his way of game more than helping younger teammates develop:
"I think today I just decided to be myself and not really try to fit into everything that we’re doing here… Just being more assertive, demanding the ball, not just going out there and trying to let people develop. Just playing my game," Kuzma said.
This season, Kuzma averages 14.6 points, 5.7 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 12.3 EFF on 27 games played.
