Sacramento Kings are considered the leading contenders to acquire Cameron Johnson from the Brooklyn Nets, with a trade package including Kevin Huerter, Trey Lyles, and a future first-round pick reportedly setting the benchmark for competing offers.

"While the Pacers remain a team to monitor for Johnson, Sacramento continues to be mentioned as a potential suitor for Brooklyn's in-demand marksman as well. One Western Conference executive insisted this week that the Kings might have the best shot at Johnson if Brooklyn indeed proves willing to trade him," Fischer reported on Substack.
The executive told Fischer that a potential trade framework could include a future first-round pick along with the contracts of Kevin Huerter and Trey Lyles.
This package is reportedly viewed by some as the benchmark offer to beat if the Nets decide to part ways with Johnson before the February 6 NBA trade deadline.
Cleveland is also in the mix, with Joe Vardon of The Athletic previously reporting that executives from three different teams have confirmed the Cavaliers' interest in acquiring the 6-foot-8 forward.
One of the most sought-after players on the market, Johnson is averaging 19.6 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 3.0 assists over 33 games this season. Now in his sixth NBA season, Johnson has played for both the Phoenix Suns and the Brooklyn Nets.
